Properly timed poultry production said important

Regina Saskatchewan Poultry Commissioner Frank Payne released figures showing cautious optimism for 1955. Hatch rates since October are below last year, with 12 percent fewer chicks hatched in Q1 and 11 percent fewer turkey eggs in incubators by end of March. Domestic meat stocks are low and American forecasts hint at lower production. A well timed program with good feeding and management should yield reasonable returns.
