No Government Help for Panch in Subsidy Request
In Ottawa no new railway subsidies are planned this session though a deputation from Hamiota Birtle Brandon and other towns urged funding for a Brandon to Birtle line. Dr Roche said CPR was prepared to build this year with subsidy. Mr Graham expressed sympathy but the government will not grant new subsidies now due to numerous requests.
