At the March 9 meeting the R.M. of Blanshard accepted gravel tenders from G. E. Gerrard Contracting for Wards 1 2 3 and Moffatt's Construction for Wards 4 5 6 with completion by July 31. Discussions covered paving into Cardale, environmental licensing for 6.5 km of road, and grant funding for Cardale paving.
The R M of Woodworth council meeting on March 9 approved two way radios for Crime Watch in Kenton UV D and authorized use of a basement for fire training. They funded travel for the Fire Chief and wife to a 1993 conference, set a petty cash fund, and approved Crime Stoppers per capita support. Payment of bills was noted and a March 30 meeting scheduled.
