Pipeline project to begin by June in Manitoba region
Trans Canada Pipeline stockpiles 48 000 meters of pipes near Rivers four miles west of Highways 21 and 24 as construction bids are issued. Two loops will start June 1 from Miniota east and Oak River west over 50 km, aiming to put the line in service by September 18. Company vows to address past trucker safety complaints.
