ICG seeks rate increase in Manitoba gas service
ICG Utilities Manitoba has applied to the Public Utilities Board for a 1.3 percent overall revenue increase, citing 1988 revenue and expense analysis. The change would raise the average residential gas bill by about 6 cents annually, with a possible offset from a prior rate-decrease application. A second ICG unit, Greater Winnipeg Gas Company, seeks about 3.4 percent more revenue. Hearings are planned for June.
