World Day of Prayer and seniors independence workshop
Christ Church hosted a World Day of Prayer service in Hamiota on March 1 1996 with about 40 members from three village congregations. The event raised prayers and financial aid for Haiti and featured speakers from United and Anglican churches. A separate Brandon workshop titled Determining Seniors Independence on March 1 1996 gathered over 60 people to discuss independence determinants for seniors across Westman communities.
