Scotland in every English day a cheeky tribute
A playful piece traces English life through Scottish inventors and origins from toast and marmalade to the Bible translation and rail, noting common items and modern life links back to Scotland. It highlights figures such as James Watt, Alexander Fleming, John Logie Baird, and others, ending with a Thought for the Week on truth.
