Birth of Shelley Leanne Preston at Hamiota Hospital

Dr and Mrs Alan Preston welcomed daughter Shelley Leanne on February 4 1977 at Hamiota Hospital. Grandparents are Mr and Mrs Frank Preston and Mr and Mrs Arnold Murray. Also notes illness and local curling events with several locals attending a mixed bonspiel February 21 to 26.

Local Curling and Social News From Portage la Prairie and Area

Decker and Harold Strachan with Charlie Mundell and Allan Mathison joined the CNC P Bonspiel at Portage la Prairie and enjoyed the event. Archie Milne of Brandon visited relatives May Little and his sister-in-law. Doris Lints stayed two weeks with Les Reid in Hamiota. Harvey Lints and Bill Little families returned from a trip to Weslaco Texas. Blaine Little was a visitor.
