The Ladies' Club met February 10 at 2 p.m. at Mrs. Violet Nicholls home. Ten years of perfect attendance earned Mrs. Ferris a planter. A Blood Donor Clinic action is planned for March 2. Members shared baking samples for Laura in Winnipeg hospital. Attendance was 20.

The February 3 1977 WMC meeting at Mrs Eva Lee’s home elected Audrey Gurr as president and Anne Davison as vice president with Alice Russell continuing as secretary treasurer. The council supports home and foreign missionaries through finances and prayer and designates one or two families per member for monthly correspondence. WMC Day on February 20 features a women led service and speaker Betty Miller with musical numbers and poetry centered on the theme ALIVE.

Truck Campers to be Licensed by March
Manitoba motor vehicle branch reminds owners of slide in campers to register starting March 1. Fees are ten dollars for campers ten feet or under and fifteen dollars for longer units. A rear visible license plate is required and proof of revenue tax payment is needed for campers purchased after a stated date.

Valentine Party Brings Music and Cards to Happy Gang
The Happy Gang in Hamiota held a Valentine Party on February 16 with 12 tables of cards. Don Pollock and three pupils played violins for guests including Carl Caldwell Beverly Robertson and Wesley Robertson. Lunch followed with a violin duet by Don and his wife Jean.
