Letters to the Editor on school division policy and transport

Dear Editor. I thank Mrs Kreager for her thoughtful answer to my February 15 letter. I discuss public notice and the five year division plan started with Bill 16 on April 22 1966. The Building Projects Committee delays new school builds until a referendum shapes a future board. If a new board shows a logical school size after April 1 it may gain approval. I doubt Margar et transportation mirrors Birdtail River. We cannot guarantee maximum travel miles. the limit is reason. The current division board has established good transport precedent and a new board would not regress. The superintendent is not a policy maker. Strong dedicated people remain vital for school boards. The issue rests with board control and accountability.
