Manitoba Telephone System seeks rate increases before Public Utilities Board
The Manitoba Telephone System requests approval from the Public Utilities Board to raise rates effective July 1 1993 under the Crown Corporations Public Review and Accountability Act and the Public Utilities Board Act. Increases target residential line fees 15 35 cents for rotary and 20 40 cents for TouchTone, business lines 35 90 cents rotary and 40 95 cents TouchTone, plus small adjustments for Centrex Multiline Business Service Foreign Exchange Directory Assistance Inmate Calling and Calling Card charges. The board will review accompanying rate restructures and reference reports dated March 5 and April 19 1993 with copies available from MTS.
