James Des Roches of I.C.I. Pharma donates 360000 to University of Toronto research fellowships, a Canadian first. He argues government funding is insufficient and corporations must help sustain medical research as private funding grows. The three year program totals 1080000 with support from MRC of Canada and U of T.
