Kenton native Angela Bray placed second in the Manitoba 15 year old class 3000 metres with 11:31.89, four seconds behind the winner. Darcia McNaught set a hurdles personal best and competed in sprints, while Angela struggled in the long jump with 4.96 metres after no warm up jumps.

Ident a Kid event highlights Hamiota Health Centre week
Hamiota Health Centre hosted Ident a Kid with 263 pairs of small hands fingerprinted to celebrate Nurses Week May 24 to May 31. Nurses volunteered time, youngest entrant was two weeks old and oldest twenty four years, then volunteers provided cookies and juice from MONA Local 83.
