Summer activities underway by Ethel Robertson
The Echo reports on Senior Support Services events for June including garden growth after rain, a playful note about Sid on a tractor, and Lawn Bowlers inviting new members with a $10 season fee. Participation Day praises seniors, volunteers, and students helping wheelchairs, with 45 attendees and ongoing weekly gatherings at Park and Lilac Residences. A Sunday Supper program delivered 313 meals from January to May, funded by Wayne Robertson, pausing for summer and resuming in September.
