Looney Lot and Summer Draw Boost Hamiota Sports Complex Fund
The Hamiota Fund Raising Committee unveils the Looney Lot, Summer Daze Draw, and Walkathon events to raise funds for the Hamiota and District Sports Complex. Activities include a summer-long raffle with 50 percent profits, a July 19 raffle after the Red Sox game, pancake breakfasts, dances, a farmers market, and sidewalk sales, with tickets sold locally and via committee members. Community members Carolyn Flynn and others travel, volunteers coordinate, and local businesses stock tickets.
