Labossiere Appointed to Public Schools Finance Board
Education Minister Keith Cosens announced Alphe Labossiere’s appointment to the Public Schools Finance Board to complete the term of Howard M. Dunfield, ending December 31, 1981. Labossiere, of Dunrea, has seven years as a Turtle Mountain school trustee. the board administers the foundation fund financed by the province.

Botulism Alert for Manitoba Ducks
Natural Resources Minister Brian Ransom asks citizens to watch for sick or dead ducks and shorebirds this summer. The department cooperates with Ducks Unlimited and the Canadian Wildlife Service to monitor botulism in waterfowl and plans a joint contingency program for a serious outbreak. Report sightings to conservation officers or wildlife biologists.
