Local 76th Annual Fair in Hamiota a Big Success
More than 400 people started with a pancake breakfast as Hamiota held its 76th annual fair. Participants enjoyed a parade with floats antique cars and bands followed by a busy program of exhibits animal shows horse events and evening games and a street dance.

A July 18 ceremony at Marney cemetery unveiled a memorial plaque honoring early pioneers who built the church and schools.
