Blanshard council drafts zoning bylaw and approves road plans
At the RM of Blanshard meeting July 10 the final draft of Bylaw 2001/2 received first reading. Council discussed road maintenance, culvert work, backhoes, graveling and the grizzly out mower, with proposals to hire equipment and inspect culverts. Grants were approved for Cardale rink and playground projects, and bids were accepted for road reconstruction and a rural water pipeline study. The CAO was authorized to pay Moffat Construction and to purchase culverts and geotextile. Next meeting set for August 14.
