Obituary: David J. Hill of Miniota Dies at 81
David J. Hill of Miniota Manitoba died July 10 2001 in Hamiota District Health Centre. A memorial service was held July 13 2001 in Dauphin with interment in Miniota Cemetery. Survived by wife Joyce four children Lloyd Karen Doreen Bryan and four grandchildren. Born June 18 1920 he served in the Air Force 1939 1945 then earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba. He worked 34 years as Provincial Agricultural Representative in Dauphin and was active in the DMCC Dauphin Agricultural Society Rotary 4-H before retiring in 1983. He moved back to Miniota in 1999.
