Farmers Market thrives with growing crowds and heat waves
HAMIOTA reports the farmers market remains strong as the first three weeks totaled eleven tables, the fourth week had nine, and the latest market saw seven tables yet sales stayed comparable. Vegetables are in season and selling fast, canopies help vendors beat the heat, and locals plus visitors treat Fridays 9 am to 12 noon as a social event with the old town bell signaling opening. Vendors from a wide area are welcomed to sustain growth.
