Pas Port of Churchill group seeks grain shipping cost study
The Pas Port of Churchill Promotion Committee asks readers to compare current rail costs to Thunder Bay and the West Coast with Churchill options and future prices. They note the Crow Benefit phasing out in the 1990s will shift grain shipping costs to farmers, and argue Churchill keeps money at home while reducing Seaway tolls. The letter provides contact details for The Pas group.
