Volunteers drive success of Hamiota recycling depot
Hamiota and District Recycling has run since 1989 with volunteers and local councils aiding expansion. The depot handles thousands of pounds monthly, upgraded by two new machines to crush glass and flatten tin, funded partly by Manitoba Stewardship Program grants.
