Hamiota Council Reviews Four Water Problem Areas
Four water problem areas were discussed by Hamiota Village Council at the June 21 meeting. An inspection will precede action. John Ridley reported spring garden water at the Bailey house and a possible culvert under Seventh Street may be needed. The village pumped water from a ditch this spring and a transfer of surplus funds 15744.92 will be requested to the RM.

Woodworth approves office closure for Harding Fair
On June 30 the Woodworth council voted to close the Municipal office on July 21 for the Harding Fair. Shaun Anderson may fence past the property line. municipality disclaims responsibility. Tax sale certificate changed to Betty Best due to John D. Blackwell holdings. Tender from Forbes Excavating for bridge removal and culvert crossing at NW 14-10-25 approved for 900 dollars. Cando Contracting tender for wooden bridge removal at NE 5-11-24W and two culverts approved for 1,380 dollars. Building projects include Municipal Building and Sylvia Ross deck permit WH4/95. Water tower hole repair advised. water drawn from reservoir during repair. Community Hall roof grant pending. Rural Development van to be used for trade shows. Nuisance grounds pump charging 50 dollars per day split with RM. private use 30 dollars per day.
