Miniota School Ends Year With Awards Day

Blanshard council backs writing contest and park upgrades

The R.M. of Blanshard council approved sponsoring an essay contest on The Advantages of Living in Blanshard at the Oak River Fair. It accepted a grant from Partners With Youth for cemetery expansion and authorized fencing, clay, and other improvements up to 1000. The meeting also covered road work on PR 354, gas talks for Shoal Lake area, by laws, school awards, and staff retirements.
