Misprint corrected on tea sale proceeds at Mrs Knight home

A misprint fix notes the amount realized at the .A. tea held at Mrs C Knight's home should read 14.50 instead of 45.00. Other items include Shirley Smithson visiting from Winnipeg, Kutcher family visiting Erinview Manitoba, and school summer break set from June 26 to September 1.

Lavinia-Decker Field Day Includes Surplus Medals and Lunch

Lavinia hosted a field day on Friday June 26 with senior ball Lavinia and junior ball Decker events. Shirley Cochran led points for the Guns with 17 of 18 and Larry Smith led the Boys with 16 of 18. both earned coronation medals. The W A served lunches and $63 was realized. Lavinia School closed for the day.
