Journey for Sight Telethon Hearing Local Support in Hamiota
Hamiota Lions Club reports the area raised 2094.65 for telethon efforts. Of this, 1653.00 funded Journey for Sight and 440.65 supported the general telethon. Lion Jim Anderson led fundraising, with 15 snowmobiles refueling at Bell's Convenience Center on January 28. Gordon Boulton of Birtle received the donations. Special thanks to Charlie and Wilma Bell for coffee and donuts.
