Hamiota Sports Complex Board Ends Five Year Wish List Gap
The Hamiota and District Sports Complex board met on Tuesday January 23 to review a five year wish list of unfinished projects. Top items include concrete bleacher tops costing about 3500 dollars and insulating south and east walls. other tasks cover exterior corners, burying a water line, a trophy case, and solid benches for players. Funds are tight and some projects are on hold pending fundraising and grants.

Rural road sign program expands for Hamiota intersection names
Wanda Strachan reports that the Rural Municipality of Hamiota council approved joining a province wide road numbering project. Crews began installing intersection signs along Provincial Trunk Highways 21 and 24 after identifying all roads crossing these routes.
