Annual U.C.W. Meeting and 1982 Officers Named
The Miniota U.C.W. held its annual meeting January 13 1982 with eight worship services and a budget adopted for 1982. A new World Day of Prayer committee Laura Long and Bev Peel was formed to work with A.C.W. ladies. The nominating slate included Chairs Mrs. Douglas Leland and Mrs. Joe Bonner, Secretary Edna Reynolds, Treasurer Laura Long, plus multiple committee convenors and members. Next meeting set for February 10 at Laura Long’s. second Wednesday meetings to continue with quarterly short sessions starting April 25.
