Oakner United Church held an Arhval meeting in the school on Monday evening January 22 1962. The treasurer reported receipts 1701 57 and expenses 1489 91 leaving 175 81 in bank and 35 85 cash on hand. The W A report listed cash balance 22 55 collections 46 61 and various sales and events totaling 927 01 with expenditures 30 69 417 67 and outstanding cheques 5 30 leaving cash 295 41. The New Organization U C W has one unit with 16 members to date and officers including Past President Mrs C Knight President Mrs Fleming and Treasurer Mrs Argue. Committees include Financial Community Friendship and visiting Program Nomination Board of Stewards and others. Elain spent time with the former's father in Souris and Mrs Ivan Kirk of Saskatoon visited relatives in Winnipeg.
