Blanshard council holds special meeting on road closure
The Rural Municipality of Blanshard met December 18 1986 with Reeve English and all councillors present. They decided not to proceed with the Ward 4 road closure due to the well location, will post signs and install a flashing red light for a dead end. They discussed railway abandonment issues, land disposition from abandoned rail line, and forming a committee to pursue land control, plus transfer of reserve funds and bank account authority for Oak River UV District.
