Journey for Sight biggest ever in Manitoba winter trek
The Fourth Annual Lions Journey for Sight snowmobile fundraiser runs January 26 29 1989 from The Pas to Winnipeg raising money for Manitoba's eye bank. Over 25 riders including Governor Jake Braun and a Winnipeg couple will collect pledges at the Lions Telethon and push past last year's receipts of 14000 dollars to expand awareness and support corneal transplants.
