Prize Dairy Batter Winners At Haminta Agricultural Show
A reader asks if Mrs. Cochran won the prize amid a dispute over a batter competition last August. The Echo notes three off red prizes in 25 lb tubs with Mrs. Fraser winning the regular list, Mrs. Kirk and Mrs. Smith taking two specials, and Miss Smith winning a brick batter special. The editor says the Whyte clause referred to the prior year and does not affect this year's result.
