The couple married January 1 1929 at Knox Church Winnipeg and farmed near Brandon before pastoral moves ending with Parkland Parish and Hamiota Oakner charge. Manitoba announces 66 youths placed in full time jobs over three weeks under the Work and Stay program. Winnipeg leads with 45, Steinbach nine, Thompson seven, Brandon five. Jobs range from mechanic helper to printers and estimators as the program continues training and job placement for 16 to 24 year olds with special needs.
