Brown aged about 75 suffered a long illness after a fever, with a recent stroke, and was buried at Hamiltona cemetery beside family. Kirk, near 94, a Canada pioneer born in Antrim Ireland, helped in 1837 rebellion and settled in Manitoba before 1850, with funeral delayed by bad roads and held in Hamiltona cemetery.
