Hamiota Society to Stage Two 1 Act Plays Friday Evening
The Hamiota Young People's Society presents two 1 act plays on Friday January 20 at 8 30 pm with musical numbers and other features. Proceeds go to a fund for buying new hymn books for the Shared. Admission adults 25e children 15e.

Wedding Skinner McConnell Unites Kath Sterling Harvey Skinner
A formal ceremony at the McDonnell home in Haaiota on December 24 1982 united Kath Sterling and Harvey Thomas George Skinner. The bride wore pale blue pebble crepe with swans down trim and carried roses and ferns. The couple will reside on the groom's Lavinia farm.
