Winnipeg Visit and Church Fire Briefs

Mr. E. E. Pulver visited Winnipeg for two days. The United Lenton Service is planned at Christ Church next Wednesday. Lenore Presbyterian Church and contents were destroyed by fire last Sunday week. Pte. S. Harold Coldicott returned from overseas last weekend. Ct J. L. Gradwell was home from Dafoe Sask for a few days, then returned on Sunday. A rink led by J. Caldwell with Wm. T. Andrew Stan Henry and Wes White of Oak River. Three Hamiota hockey players played in Manitoba Junior Playdowns at Birtle last night Maitland and Woods for Birtle and Runchey for Foxwarren.

Christ Church Hamiota with Rev B O Whitfield lists no service next Sunday. Hamiota United Church led by Rev W G Onions offers 11 am Morning Worship, 12 15 pm Church School, 7 pm Vesper Service with The Message of the Bible in War Time. Everyone welcome.
