Controversy Over Hextall as Goalie in Poplar Point Dinner
The piece insults Ron Hextall's aggressive goaltending style, predicts a violent incident, and notes NHL scrutiny. It contrasts Hextall with The Cat Emil Francis and cites unnamed scouts and players like Kent Nilsson and Sylvan Turgeon. The author muses on crease chaos and Plante’s influence, ending with a satirical Leap Year nod.
