Hamiota United Church Executive Council meets in choir room
The Hamiota United Church Executive Council met February 12 in the choir room. Rev. John Lea opened with scripture and prayer. Committees reported including the January financial statement. Session met January 14 to discuss Cradle Roll 1996 and Funeral Guidelines. A Round Table group to brainstorm ideas will be chaired by Larry Oakden. Next Session meeting is March 17.

The R M of Woodworth council authorized formation of a Woodworth Economic Board to apply for senior government funds. Members Larry Lana Innes Hodson and Bill McQuaker were named. A further 617.49 was approved for B L Equipment for pipeline work. church committees planned services, World Development drive, and fundraisers. Oakner Church pledged 1000.00, UCW 250.00. 16 attend study sessions on Questions of Faith. World Day of Prayer planned by Haiti, March 1.
