Manitoba Community Arts Festival Awareness Week Highlight

Manitoba marks Awareness Week February 18 to 24 to honor amateur arts festivals as a province wide cultural movement with 80000 participants annually. The Birdtail River festival lists vocal, piano, band and rhythm events this spring. Community festivals, run by 4500 volunteers, nurture local arts and foster lifelong creativity.
