Truck and CN train collide in fog at Oakner crossing
A delivery truck and a CN train collide at the Oakner crossing on Hwy. 21 in Hamiota area during dense fog. Both truck occupants from Regina suffer minor injuries, one with a broken ankle and the other with cracked ribs, and are kept overnight for observation. The crossing was blocked until late evening as CN replaced rails and emergency crews cleared the scene. The truck driver was charged with imprudent driving.
