Lord Tweedsmuir died in a Montreal hospital after a brief illness from a fall aged 64. A state funeral was held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Ottawa.

Obituary: Geo Groves of Conquest Dies in Montreal Hospital

The late Geo Groves of Conquest Saskatchewan died Monday after a serious operation in a Montreal hospital. He was 40, married to Christina Sked of Oakner, and had lived in Oakner before moving west. Funeral from United Church Oakner Thursday at 2 p.m. with interment in Hamiota Cemetery.
