Third Annual United Church Ushers Dinner Held
On February 10 the third annual gathering of United Church ushers took place at Mr A D McConnell’s home. About eighteen boys joined Mr Barnett and Mr McConnell for a lavish dinner. Norman Currie acted as master of ceremonies and led an impromptu program. Barnett spoke briefly, then the head usher and host urged the boys to grow into good citizens. The evening ended with games and contests and was enjoyed by all.
