Rolling River Board Approves Five Winter Works Projects
The Rolling River School Division boards approves five winter works projects funded by the 1972 Provincial Employment Program. Demolition and salvage of the two north Minnedosa schools employ twelve men, start February 17, and reuse salvaged materials. Other tasks include painting sixty classrooms, moving surplus textbooks, renovating the division garage showroom, reconditioning auditorium seating, and mid term completion of the Rivers Collegiate gym floor. The board also donates $50 to the Western Manitoba Science Fair and discusses a group insurance plan it will not adopt.
