A town meeting in the Council Chamber organized a local branch of the Million for Manitoba League. Officers elected were President F C Bennesit and Secretary Treasurer F E Langdale. A mass meeting will invite central speakers and appoint vice presidents and ward committees.
Local notes report a Brandon bonspiel with teams led by Kirk Munroe and G Hayhurst, a Sunday School debate on the Press of Books won by the negative, and plans for a banquet. Guild events include a sale of work by the Church of England auxiliary, a visit by Geo Mackie, and Scout injuries at school.
