Memories of Christmas Past Across Generations
A nostalgic reminiscence contrasts senior and junior views of Christmas. The author recalls family secrecy about gifts, church cantatas, large dinners, and a campy radio tradition, then shifts to work life, telegraph duties, and telegrams. Modern memories include Regina power failures and a Salvation Army bell ringer episode in Medicine Hat. The piece closes with Season's Greetings.
