Tea and Bake Sale Raises Funds at CARDALE Church
The W I held its Annual Tea and Bake Sale in the church basement and collected about 163 dollars. Raffle winners include Lorna Shaw for Christmas Cake Laura Stephens for Christmas Table Centre Joyce Sage for Jarginier Gwen McTavish for Christmas Pudding Ethel Fortune for Ceramic Spoon and Fork Dolores McTavish for Ceramic Hanging Planter and Plant. Door prize went to Millie McCormick for a handmade bead necklace Gordon Sage won the Ceramic Stein by closest guess to the litre capacity.

Couple Honored McCONNELL In School Farewell
On December 8 a farewell party at the school honored Steve McMurachy and Rita Murdoch. Jack and Mabel Wright ushered them in. Raymond Moffat read the address and Evelyn Moffat presented a chiming wall clock. Steve thanked the group before cards and lunch. The couple now reside in Strathclair.
