Manitoba Advances Sunday Shopping Trial Legislation
Manitoba proposes a five month Sunday shopping trial from noon to 6 p m in all stores with opt out for retailers and employees. The plan allows mall tenants to reject Sunday openings and enables workers to refuse Sunday shifts with a 14 day notice, pending a provincial decision on permanent expansion.
