Dr George Johnson, a Manitoba physician with extensive public service in health and education, will be sworn in as the province’s 20th lieutenant governor on December 12 at 2 p.m. in the Legislative Building. The oath will be administered by Chief Justice Alfred M. Mannin.

Hamiota students rehearse a children's musical The Owl and the Pussycat Went to Sea. Cast includes Alan Kirk Colleen Bell Rena Little and Mark Robinson with many Grade 7-12 students. Performances are Tuesday and Wednesday December 16 and 17.
