Manitoba offers residents majority share stake in MTS
Manitoba outlines an instalment plan to buy most MTS common shares as the province privatizes the company. Village lights up for Christmas tree event in Hamiota
The village of Hamiota celebrated the season by erecting a community Christmas tree in front of the municipal office on November 29. The mayor and council joined about 50 residents to decorate the tree, enjoy hot chocolate and carols, and support the local pool through “A Splash of Light” donations of ten dollars each for two extra lights with tax receipts available.
