The Ambulan ce Committee of Hamiota District Hospital met November 10 to review the first year of ambulance service. Fifty calls were answered with a small operating surplus before depreciation. Eight volunteer drivers are licensed. eight attended the driver meeting on November 21 with RCMP consultants and hospital staff.

Wives former members and visitors were welcomed after the election. John Rankin presented slides on Alberta and British Columbia. More than 60 members and friends shared a lavish Christmas luncheon with guests from Birtle Strathclair Rivers and Brandon.
